Bodega DiamAndes is a portmanteau, named after combining Diamond and Andes. Located in the Uco Valley, in the foothills of the Andes, DiamAndes has produced a range of intense, elegant wines since its creation in 2005. The impressive winery is one of the newest built in the Uco Valley, and true to its name, the icon of the winery is a steel diamond shaped sculpture in the center with breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains.
The winery is owned by the Bonnie family, who also manage Château Malartic-Lagravière, a Grand Cru Classé in Graves, and Château Gazin Rocquencourt in Léognan (south of Bordeaux). Produced exclusively from grapes from DiamAndes’ single block of 130 hectares of vines, the winery’s Malbec, Chardonnay, Viognier and red blends, are popular with wine lovers all over the world.
The winery’s welcome center has an auditorium for up to 40 people, in which videos are projected. It also houses a VIP tasting room, a small kitchen, a wine bar with capacity for some 40 people, as well as a cellar that houses the outstanding wines created by DiamAndes.
